For all Pedors products we offer practitioners fitting any of our products a Manufacturer's Guarantee of Satisfaction.
So what does that mean?
All Pedors products are designed to last at least twelve months normal wear and tear. Pedors shoes are rated to be worn by folks who weigh up to 100 kgs or 220 lbs. Many patients weigh more than that, but for the materials we use in our shoes this is the maximum weight we can warranty against. The shoe is designed to be as lightweight as possible and as accommodating as possible. In that way we've found that we achieve the greatest patient compliance - in that they actually wear the shoe - and this minimizes risks associated with ill fitting footwear.
So what does that mean?
If you the practitioner believe that any of our products have not lived up to expectations for a particular patient we will replace the product at no charge. Fortunately, this rarely happens. However, for many patients once fitted with any of our footwear it becomes their "every day shoe" and so "normal wear and tear" is open to interpretation.
So what does that mean?
The Manufacturer's Guarantee of Satisfaction means that we rely on you to determine if our product is the right product for your patient. If you chose a Pedors product and you feel the product has failed then we will replace it with no questions asked. Some practitioners accept that given the particular circumstances of each patient case, it is only reasonable to expect a product to last six months given that the product is worn every day all day, and even though the shoe might only last six months it remains the best option for their patient.
